Disquiet Junto Project 0645: Speed Trap
Dear Members of the Disquiet Junto,
First of all, my plans are still in flux about a potential summer trip to Scotland. As it comes together, I’ll let you know. It would be great to meet up, and better yet potentially host a Junto event. It’s looking like I’ll spend a week in Glasgow and a week in Edinburgh, if it all comes together, with some possible day trips. I’d hoped to get further north, but that likely isn’t in the cards for this summer.
Second, I have a substantial backlog of participant-proposed Junto projects, and they’ll be rolling out in the coming weeks.
Third, my fried — and Junto member — Mahlen Morris has developed a suite of four free modules for VCV Rack that I recommend. They were informed, a little bit, by some Junto projects, notably last year’s Music That Listens to Itself. They’re the four most recent ones in the VCV Rack library for the Stochastic Telegraph line (or, in VCV Rack terms, “brand”).
Fourth, I just today got my set of Patch Deck cards, created by Aaron Taylor-Waldman. Some great folks contributed, and there’s even a Junto-inspired card in the mix, with cute little pictures of Benjamin Franklin and Fernando Pessoa on it.
And fifth: thanks, as always, for your generosity with your time, creativity, and curiosity.
Best from oddly warm San Francisco,
. . .

As always, it helps to read the instructions in full before proceeding, and considering the steps as a whole.
