Disquiet Junto Project 0695: Clean After Each Use

Dear Members of the Disquiet Junto,
I hope this note finds you well, or well as can be. I’m excited to report that we will, again, be teaming up with Musikfestival Bern in Switzerland this year for a series of projects. I’ll have additional details next Thursday, when we do the first of a foreseen three projects with them. Also: we’re five weeks away from the 700th consecutive weekly Disquiet Junto project. Whether you’re brand new to the Junto or you’ve been around for hundreds of projects, your participation means a lot — to me, and to your fellow participants.
And that about covers it. Thanks, as always, for your generosity with your time, creativity, and curiosity.
Best from San Francisco,
Marc Weidenbaum

Disquiet Junto Project 0695: Clean After Each Use
The Assignment: Put a piece of music through the dryer.
Step 1: Think about lint for a moment — all the stuff that’s cast off from your clothes when you send them through the dryer.
Step 2: Now consider what might be cast off from your music if you could send your music through the dryer for a cycle or two.
Step 3: Select a piece of your own music, and send it through the metaphorical dryer. What results?
