Disquiet Junto Project 0722: Spook Street
Dear Members of the Disquiet Junto,
Sorry if you’ve sent me an email recently and I haven’t replied. Been very busy out on Long Island, helping out my mom, but that is coming to a close and I’ll have a few days in NYC, starting tomorrow, through next Tuesday. If you’re around, I may have time to meet up, so lemme know if you’re interested. Also if you know of any good concerts — ambient, electronic, contemporary classical — please lemme know. I’m pretty sure I’m going to Unsound on Saturday night. Looking for other events, especially for (late) Thursday, Friday, (late) Sunday, and (late) Monday. Much appreciated.
And that covers it. This week’s project is, indeed, Halloween-themed, with a specificity to its creative constraint that can last well into the weekend.

Disquiet Junto Project 0722: Spook Street
The Assignment: Make music for a haunted spy film.
Step 1: It’s intriguing that the word “spook” regularly means “haunt” (verb) but also can mean “spy” (noun). Consider this.
Step 2: This project coincides with Halloween 2025, so imagine a spooky spy film, and write some music for it.
Tasks Upon Completion:
Label: Include “disquiet0722” (no spaces/quotes) in the name of your track.
Upload: A person participating in the Disquiet Junto should post only one track per weekly project (SoundCloud account preferred but not required). If on occasion you feel inspired to post more than one track (whether to a single account or across multiple accounts), you should clarify which is the “main” rendition for consideration by fellow members and (if on SoundCloud) for inclusion in the SoundCloud playlist.
