Disquiet Junto Project 0745: Double Down

Dear Members of the Disquiet Junto,
This is the 745th consecutive weekly Disquiet Junto project. In five weeks we’ll be doing the 750th, which is a pretty cool milestone. I think between now and then we’ll likely do the (semi-)annual trios project. That’s the one where everyone records a solo the first week, someone else turns it into a duet the second week, and then the third it’s a trio. The way the creativity branches is as much a pleasure as the music itself.
Meanwhile, I’m getting settled back in at home after 10 days in New York, where I’m originally from, and where I got to hang out with my mom — and visit the Noguchi Museum in Queens and the Parrish Museum way out on the east end of Long Island. I think about the Junto and museums a lot. If you happen to work at a museum, lemme know. I might have some ideas to run by you.
And that covers it. Thanks, as always, for your generosity with your time, creativity, and curiosity.
Best from San Francisco,
Marc Weidenbaum

Disquiet Junto Project 0745: Double Down
The Assignment: Do something you do too much even more.
Step 1: Think about something in your music that you feel like you do too often.
Step 2: Make a piece of music in which you double down on what you focused on in Step 1. Own it. Turn a crutch into a superpower.
Tasks Upon Completion:

Upload: A person participating in the Disquiet Junto should post only one track per weekly project (SoundCloud account preferred but not required).
